Program Description

Integrated Display System Replacement (IDSR)

The IDSR is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) application that accepts, processes, distributes, and displays weather, runway, and other aviation-related information from many information sources in an Air Traffic Control (ATC) environment. This data includes weather interfaces, documents, images, and searchable databases. The IDSR is typically located in the tower cabs, TRACON and other FAA facilities and presents the data in a user-defined screen format. IDSR provides enhanced situational awareness through real-time data shared with remote towers.
