Program Description

NASA/FAA Laboratory Integrated Test Environment (NFLITE)

NFLITE is a system of integrated labs located at both the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) and NASA Air Traffic Operations Lab (ATOL), and built to support the future of Urban Air Mobility (UAM). This test environment is designed for the deployment of high-fidelity simulation-based research, and the exploration of prototypes of future tools and systems. This collaborative effort is focused on researching early UAM operations within the NAS.
