Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC)

COMSTAC was established in 1984 to provide information, advice, and recommendations to the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on critical matters concerning the U.S. commercial space transportation industry.

The economic, technical, and institutional expertise provided by COMSTAC members has been invaluable to our work in developing effective regulations that ensure safety during commercial launch operations and policies that support international competitiveness for the industry.

The next meeting of the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) will be held on Oct 31, 2018 and Nov. 1, 2018 in the Oklahoma City Room at the Department of Transportation headquarters located at 1200 New Jersey Ave SE, Washington DC. Attendance is open to the public but limited to the space available. You may reserve your seat by emailing your full legal name, country of citizenship, email address and name of your organization or applicable affiliation to COMSTAC@faa.gov before October 12, 2018. Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis. For persons wishing to participate by teleconference, please send an email to COMSTAC@faa.gov before October 12, 2018 to receive the teleconference number and passcode. A detailed agenda will be posted here before the meeting.
