Clark Davenport works in the Rotorcraft Directorate in Fort Worth, Texas. He is responsible for human factors aspects of airworthiness standards for normal and transport category rotorcraft, described in Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 27 and part 29. Clark is responsible for initiating, participating and supporting rulemaking projects to develop advisory and guidance material as needed.

Clark was in the United States Air Force (USAF) for 20 years, where he was involved in human factors investigations and mishap prevention at the USAF Safety Center.
