SNOE - Pegasus XL

Orbital Sciences Corporation's successfully launched a Pegasus XL launch vehicle at 07:07 UTC on 26 February 1998. The Pegasus XL was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. The Pegasus XL carried the SNOE and BATSAT satellites to low earth orbit. The SNOE satellite will measure nitric oxide density in the earth atmosphere. BATSAT is a communication satellite that will relay data packets from user terminals on earth to ground data network.
