GALAXY 10 - Delta III

The Boeing Company is scheduled to launch the first Delta III launch vehicle 25 August, 1998, at 00:47 UTC. The Delta III, to be launched from Cape Canaveral Air Station, Florida, will carry the Galaxy 10 satelite. The Galaxy 10, to be operated by PanAmSat Corporation, is an HS-601 spacecraft designed and built by Hughes Space and Communications International, Inc. With 24 C-band and 24 Ku-band transponders, Galaxy 10 will serve the United States' video, data and audio services business community from an orbital position of 123° West longitude.
