Intelsat-19 - Zenit-3SL

Intelsat 19 is a Geosynchronous digital radio satellite built by Space Systems/Loral, which will provide C- and Ku-band capacity for media, government and network services in the western United States and the Pacific Rim, including Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and Australia, from an orbital location of 166 degrees East Longitude. Intelsat 19, which is based on LS-1300 satellite bus, will be operational in July and will replace Intelsat 8. Intelsat 19 is owned and operated by Intelsat and is expected to be operational for 15 years.
