Girls In Aviation Day - A Women In Aviation International EventLooking for a great way for your family members, students or youth groups to connect to aviation resources? If so, tell them to register for Girls in Aviation Day (PDF) on September 25, 2021 in just a few weeks.

Launched in 2015 by the non-profit organization Women in Aviation International, this free annual event draws thousands of young people from across the country and around the world to learn more about aviation career fields and STEM.

Local chapters of the organization will hold virtual and in-person events in various locations in the United States and abroad, as local health guidance allows. Locate and register for activities near you using the Girls in Aviation Day event finder.

What to Expect

Content will be shared in three age-appropriate tracks for elementary, middle and high school students. Events are open to participants ages 8-17 and will include career panel videos, instructional and learning activities, virtual tours, information about scholarships and more.

Download the App

Participants can download the Aviation for Girls app for smart devices and desktop computers. The app features hands-on activities, videos and more, and the content is accessible year round. The app debuted last year during the pandemic, allowing thousands of girls from nearly 60 countries to participate in STEM programs throughout the year. Students can download this year's new and improved version of the app to their favorite device.
