People with Targeted Disabilities Nationwide Career Fairs

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is dedicated to ensuring equality of opportunity in employment for individuals with disabilities.

The goal of the FAA is to proactively seek and hire a workforce that is diverse and inclusive. Through the collaborative partnership of each line of business and staff offices, we can achieve this goal.

The Agency has placed special emphasis on recruiting and hiring individuals with targeted disabilities. The targeted disabilities are: hearing (total deafness in both ears), vision (blind), missing extremities, partial paralysis, complete paralysis, epilepsy, severe intellectual disability, psychiatric disability, and dwarfism.

As a result, we will hold several career fairs across the country to recruit qualified applicants. Please review the list below and share local opportunities with people you know who may be interested in FAA careers.

At each career fair, the interested applicant should be prepared to provide the following:

  • Government-issued ID
  • Resume
  • References
  • Academic Transcripts
  • Disability Certification (i.e. Schedule "A" letter)

If you have questions or to RSVP, please email outreach@faa.gov.
