HOT SPRINGS — Federal Aviation Administration officials will participate in a four-day aviation seminar here on June 12-15 that will focus on safety, and is designed to mark the 100th Anniversary of Flight.

Sponsored by the City of Hot Springs, the event will feature static displays of aircraft at the Hot Springs Memorial Field Airport, starting June 12. Exhibits and aviation safety seminars will located at the Hot Springs Civic and Convention Center.

Lindy Ritz, director of the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, will represent the Federal Aviation Administration as special guest speaker at the seminar banquet on June 13. Several national FAA officials are scheduled to attend the safety meetings.

A special 100th Anniversary of Flight safety program will take place on Saturday at the convention center, and a fly-in breakfast will highlight activities on Sunday, June 15.

The Mid-America U.S. Air Force Band and Honor Gurad will perform during the event.
