Having a basic understanding of the respiratory and circulatory systems of the body are key in the understanding of the physiological problems of high altitude. This video provides a basic description of each system as well as pointing out their various organs and components. Additionally, the concept of external, internal and cellular respiration will be discussed. The effect of high altitude on these systems is also introduced.
