One of the first-line defenses against many of the physiological hazards of flight involves the use of the on-board oxygen equipment. Having a good, basic understanding of the various components of the oxygen system is the first step in its effective use. This video describes the basics of an oxygen storage and delivery system common to most on-board systems. Pre-flight and In-flight inspections of the systems are described to assure proper operation.
