Having good effective vision is paramount to safe flight. A pilot whose vision is not good is creating a potentially hazardous flying experience. This video provides the viewer with a basic understanding of how the visual system functions. Certain flight conditions such as hypoxia and night-flying hinder vision. This video strives to convince pilots and crewmembers that good 20/20 vision enhances the likelihood of a safe flight.
