FAA TV: Cold Land Survival

Anytime there is enough environmental cold temperature to bring about harm to the human body you are officially in a "cold land". The arctic is obviously a cold land. But so is a ramp area with an inadequately clothed pilot where the temperature is dropping and the wind is blowing. This video will address cold land survival techniques that can used in any environment. It will give advice on dress, fire and shelter that a downed and stranded aviator can use to help survive until rescue.
