Anytime there is enough environmental hot temperature to bring about harm to the human body this is officially termed a "Hot land". The desert is obviously a hot land. But…so is a ramp area with little or no shade and a dehydrated pilot who is sitting in a cabin that has the temperature of an oven. This video will address hot land survival techniques that can be used in this and any hot or arid environment.
