Software engineers from the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center and the William J. Hughes Technical Center create an interface, allowing an air traffic specialist to control simulated pilots using the NextGen Prototyping Network. The pilots originate from the Target Generation Facility at WJHTC. They are utilizing a STARS ELITE training system, normally used exclusively to train Electronic Technicians and Engineers, and owned by the Academy’s Terminal Automation Section.
