Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF)
9-4-1. GENERAL
NWS forecast offices prepare and forward 24 or
30hour TAFs for selected U.S. terminals to the
WMSCR for distribution. Similar forecasts for the
U.S. Military, Canada, and Mexico are sent to
WMSCR from the NCEP and Air Force Weather
Agency (AFWA) for distribution.
9-4-2. TERMINAL AERODROME
FORECAST SCHEDULES
TAFs are prepared four times a day and are issued at
2330, 0530, 1130, and 1730 UTC.
