AUS F1 STMP Request
In anticipation of a significant number of aircraft flying to/from the 2026 Formula One (F1) Event in Austin, Texas, the Houston district respectfully requests the Air Traffic Control Systems Command Center (ATCSCC) administer a STMP using eSTMP web interface.
Departure Reservations: This STMP will only include non-scheduled IFR/VFR departures from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). Traditional Traffic Management Initiatives (TMIs) will be used for other aspects of this event, but STMP is essential to manage surface congestion and departure delays in the wake of Sundayβs Grand Prix. At this phase of the event, there will be a high arrival and departure demand.
Departure reservations will be required for all non-scheduled IFR/VFR departures during the following dates and times: Sunday, October 25, 2026, 1600L - 2359L (2100Z β 0459Z).
