Program Data is intended to establish the specific program compliance requirements at the start of the program. This data addresses methods of compliance, new or novel design features, test hardware configuration control, and FAA participation in testing.

Technical Data represents the actual test plans and reports, analyses, and technical specifications that are prepared during the TSO program.

The technical data requirements make reference to the "Minimum Performance Standards" (MPS). The MPS are included as Appendix 1 to the TSO and consist of various test, analysis, and other data requirements necessary to establish that the APU is safe to operate.

The technical data requirements also make reference to other data such as Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Model Specification, and Installation/Operating data, described in Appendices 2, 3 and 4 to the TSO.

Manufacturing quality control system requirements are included in the Technical Data requirements. These requirements are similar to the Production Certification requirements for propulsion engines.
