Amateur-Built Kits Checklists and Approval Letters Evaluated by National Kit Evaluation Team (NKET)
The table below identifies amateur-built aircraft kits that have been evaluated at the manufacturer by the FAA’s National Kit Evaluation Team (NKET). Along with the kits, we provide links to the Amateur-Built Fabrication and Assembly Checklists completed during the evaluations, and the manufacturer’s Letter of Eligibility. Inclusion in the table does not mean that the listed aircraft or kits are FAA “Certified,” “Certificated,” or “Approved.”
We provide this information as a public courtesy and to assist prospective builders in their kit research.
As NKET evaluates new amateur-built kits, we will update this page.
