Airman Medical Certification System Frequently Asked Questions

What are my responsibilities as an AMCS user?
An AME who participates in the Airman Medical Certification System is responsible for entering and transmitting all FAA Form 8500-8 application data using AMCS Internet v2. Once you have entered the data using the AMCS Internet v2, you will then mark the original with "TRANS" (to indicate that it has been electronically transmitted) in the upper right corner and mail to the Aerospace Medical Certification Division in Oklahoma City. You also have a responsibility to adhere to Federal Aviation Administration computer use security policies. You will receive this information when you receive your user name and password.
