ENR 3.4 Helicopter Routes

VFR Helicopter routes are available at the following website: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/digital_products/vfr/.

1. VFR Helicopter Routes VFR Helicopter routes are available on Helicopter Route Charts for the following cities: Baltimore/Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and U.S. Gulf Coast.
2. Helicopter Route Charts Helicopter Route Charts are three-color charts that depict current aeronautical information useful to helicopter pilots navigating in areas with high concentrations of activity. Information depicted includes helicopter routes, maximum route altitudes at specific points, multiple classes of heliports with associated frequency and lighting capabilities, NAVAIDS, and obstructions. In addition, pictorial symbols, roads, and easily identified geographical features are portrayed. (See FIG GEN 3.2-4.)
