Anthony Bryant
Acting Deputy Regional Administrator, Southwest Region
Anthony "Tony" Bryant has served as the Acting
Deputy Regional Administrator for the Southwest Region since June of 2025. He is also the National Building Services Lead for the FAA's nine regional offices and the Regional Emergency Transportation Coordinator (RETCO) for the Southwest Region.
In 2010, Mr. Bryant joined the FAA, where he has held several pivotal roles within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO), including Airway Transportation Systems Specialist, Technical Training Specialist, and Frontline Manager. Additionally, he served as an FAA Academy Instructor within the Finance and Management (AFN) organization. In 2019, he transitioned to the FAA's Office of Policy and Strategic Engagement (APL), as a Senior Advisor and Executive Operations Manager to the FAA Southwest Regional Administrator. He has undertaken various temporary leadership assignments, notably in the role of Texas Airports District Office Manager for the Office of Airports (APR).
Mr. Bryant began his distinguished federal career as an enlisted Marine, serving with honor both in garrison and in combat theaters.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which underpins his expertise in aviation and management. His career is characterized by a steadfast dedication to advancing aviation safety, efficiency, and innovation.
