June Green

Acting Deputy Executive Director

June Green began serving as the Acting Deputy Regional Administrator for the FAA Office of National Engagement and Regional Administration (ARA) in June 2025. In the role, she coordinates with the ARA Executive Director to lead the headquarters office in Washington, D.C., and nine regional offices strategically located across the country.   

Previously, she served as the Director, Office of Management Services in the Office of NextGen (ANG). In that role, Ms. Green provided executive, technical, and administrative direction over procurement, employee services, financial services, business planning, outreach, and agency collaboration and messaging in support of the implementation of Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) initiatives and activities. She was responsible for the provision of more than $7B in vendor contracts for engineering resources and awarding approximately $100M in research and workforce development grants. Ms. Green oversaw approximately 100 employees and a budget of approximately $243M.  

She also served as the Integration Lead/Technical Advisor for the Mission Support Services in the Air Traffic Organization. Among her many accomplishments, she addressed enterprise-level challenges, revamped the KSN site, developed processes to efficiently manage e-mail communications across the organization, and identified and created dashboards to facilitate decision-making. As the Integration Lead/Technical Advisor, Ms. Green also implemented employee recognition and engagement tools; and implemented process improvements to proactively audit and reconcile all Strategy support contracts and task orders.  

Ms. Green’s other leadership experiences include serving as the Director of Management Services, where she directed, managed and engaged in personnel processes; information management; business management for contractor support; budget planning; financial management and strategy; and policy development. Additionally, she served as Division Manager for Procurement Services, where she managed the MITRE Center for Advanced Aviation System Development contract, and was the Operations Manager for the Human Factors Group.  

Ms. Green holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from George Mason University. She is also a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute’s Leadership for a Democratic Society and has a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute.
