A New Era of Aviation: An AAM Webinar Series

The FAA is at the forefront of establishing an operational Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) ecosystem at one or more key sites in the United States soon. The FAA is working to safely and responsibly usher in this new era in aviation.

Many AAM operators intend to use existing infrastructure for initial operations, as well as new purpose-built infrastructure. As operators explore those options, questions arise as to what standards to use in the siting, design, and operation of AAM landing and take-off sites, more commonly referred to as vertiports, as well as the equipment and facilities needed to support those operations.
