Export Airworthiness Approval Procedures

Advisory Circular 21-44

Advisory Circular (AC) 21-44 contains information about Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 21, subpart L procedural requirements for issuing export airworthiness approvals and the rules governing the holders of those approvals. This includes requirements that address the different types of export airworthiness approvals, the application process, the issuance of export airworthiness approvals, and the responsibilities of exporters.

Advisory Circular (AC) 21-2 contains guidance on Export Airworthiness Approval Procedures and special requirements for importing countries. The most current Special Requirements of Importing Countries are available online and should be used by FAA employees and designees. The complete appendix and individual country requirements will be updated to reflect the current revision as they are received.

Appendix 2 of AC 21-2

Appendix 2 of AC 21-2 contains Special Requirements of Importing Countries and Jurisdictions. Any questions a designee may have concerning the information in this document should be directed to the designee's Advisor or supervising FAA district office.
