Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) Airport Infrastructure Grant Funding Amounts

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act provides $15 billion for airport-related projects as defined under the existing Airport Improvement Grant and Passenger Facility Charge criteria. The money can be invested in runways, taxiways, safety and sustainability projects, as well as terminal, airport-transit connections and roadway projects.

For a fourth year, FAA has made $2.89 billion available to U.S. airports. To date, nearly $12 billion in Airport Infrastructure Grant (AIG) funding has been made available to airports across the country.
