- If you've received Airframe and Powerplant ratings from St. George Aviation —
You will receive a 60-question computer-generated General/Airframe/Powerplant (RTG) knowledge test. The RTG exam is generated from a combination of questions from the Aviation Mechanic General, Airframe, and Powerplant knowledge question banks. Visit Sample Airmen Knowledge Test Questions to view these three questions banks. You will also receive a 15-question oral examination.
- If you've received only an Airframe rating from St. George Aviation —
You will receive a 50-question computer-generated General/Airframe (RTA) knowledge test. The RTA exam is generated from a combination of questions residing in the Aviation Mechanic General and Airframe knowledge question banks. Visit Sample Airmen Knowledge Test Questions to view these two questions banks. You will also receive a 10-question oral examination.
- If you've received only a Powerplant rating from St. George Aviation —
You will receive a 50-question computer-generated General/Powerplant (RTP) knowledge test. The RTP exam is generated from a combination of questions from the Aviation Mechanic General and Powerplant knowledge question banks.
