We strongly recommend making an appointment with the SkyWest CMO before coming to the office.

In accordance with CDC Community Transmission Levels, if Transmission Levels are high (Red), the building might close, and you will not be permitted entry.  In that event, our office would need to know you were coming to inform you of the change and assist you virtually.  Lower transmission levels may still require that you wear a mask upon entry to the office.

Who We Are

The SkyWest Certificate Management Office (CMO) has certificate management oversight responsibility for the SkyWest Airlines Inc. Air Carrier Certificate.  This includes both domestic and international flight operations, aircraft maintenance, and aircrew training.  Agency oversight activities and responsibilities are being managed under a virtual oversight concept.  SkyWest CMO inspectors, support staff, and management personnel are located throughout the United States, with the largest groups located at the following FAA facilities:

  • Chicago, IL
  • Denver, CO
  • Detroit, MI
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Salt Lake City, UT
