  • AC 20-152A, Development Assurance for Airborne Electronic Hardware
    • Public comments to be joint with EASA using EASA's Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) process
    • Planned for 2019
  • AC 00-72, Best Practices for AEH Design Assurance using ED-80 and DO-254
    • Public comments to be joint with EASA using EASA's Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) process
    • Planned for 2019
  • AC 20-189, Management of Open Problem Reports
    • Public comments to be joint with EASA using EASA's Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) process
    • Planned for 2019
  • AC 00-71, Best Practices for Management of Open Problem Reports
    • Public comments to be joint with EASA using EASA's Notice of Proposed Amendment (NPA) process
    • Planned for 2019
  • Notice 8110.XX – Conformity Inspections and Incremental TIA for SW&AEH
    • Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware Criteria for Supporting Conformity Inspections and Type Inspection Authorization (TIA) Issuance
    • Provide criteria that apply to SW&AEH when the associated development assurance activities have not been completed at the time of TIA issuance.
    • Planned for 2019
  • Order 8110.105B, Airborne Electronic Hardware Approval Guidelines
    • Primary purpose of Rev B is to delete Chapters 3-6 to eliminate duplication or conflict as topics previously addressed in those Chapters will be addressed in AC 20-152A or AC 00-72.
    • Planned for 2019
  • Order 8110.49B, Software Approval Guidelines
    • Primary purpose is to delete Chapter 4 to eliminate duplication or conflict as the topic of software conformity will be addressed in a new Notice
    • Planned for 2019
  • AC 20-170A, IMA Development, Verification, Validation, Integration, and Approval Using DO-297 and TSO C153A
    • Provides coordinated guidance with EASA AMC 20-170A.
    • Planned for 2019
  • AC 20-APA, Assurance Process Acceptance
    • Will provide a means for authority acceptance of development assurance processes using a safety management approach.
    • Planned for 2020
