Validation Lists
The Implementation Procedures for Airworthiness (IPA) between the FAA and the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) references several lists to be used in the product validation process, including:
- Special Emphasis Items (SEI) (IPA section 3.5.3.3.(a));
- Significant Standards Difference (SSD) (IPA section 3.5.3.3.(j); and
- Areas for Further Technical Confidence Building (AFTCB) (IPA section 3.5.3.3.(l)).
