State Aviation Standards

49 USC §47105 (c) (PDF) and §47114(d)(5) (PDF) allow the FAA to approve state standards and/or the use of state highway specifications for pavement construction at nonprimary public-use airports. Advisory Circular 150/5100-13, Development of State Standards for Nonprimary Airports, provides guidelines for this process. The following states have developed FAA-approved state standards.

These standards are only applicable at nonprimary public-use airports in the designated state.
