Abstract: ATSATpc is a WindowsTM-based software program designed to facilitate posting of transcribed voice communications data into a pre-defined electronic spreadsheet. The steps involved in processing air traffic control communications using ATSATpc coincide with the steps that must be followed when manually encoding communications according to the procedures outlined in "Development of a Coding Form for Approach Control/Pilot Voice Communications" (Prinzo, Britton, & Hendrix, 1995).
