Cancel Aircraft Registration

Deregistration due to Accident, Salvage, Dismantled, Permanently Retired from Service,
Destroyed, or Owner's Request.

The last registered owner may request that registration be canceled because the aircraft has been in
an accident, salvaged, dismantled, permanently retired from service, destroyed, or (etc).  The 
request must show the aircraft description and may contain an ink, digital, faxed or photocopy signature. 
Aircraft that are destroyed, the registration may be canceled upon receipt of such notification by the
owner or by a responsible party (such as a member of a deceased owner's family, one co-owner,
etc.)  Request may be mailed, faxed, or submitted electronically as an attachment to an email at
