Description

This AC provides guidance and recommendations for the preparation and approval of training course outlines (TCO) for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved, industry-conducted flight instructor refresher courses (FIRC) in accordance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 61, § 61.197(b)(2)(iii). In so doing, this AC clarifies TCO development standards, training standards, and testing standards, and provides recommendations to assist applicants to meet and adhere to these standards.
