Description

This AC describes methods the Administrator accepts per Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 43, and 145 for the development, qualification, and approval of bias and radial aircraft tire retreads, their repair and process specifications, and the use of special nondestructive inspection (NDI) techniques. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) encourages service difficulty reporting by the General Aviation (GA) community. The contents of this document do not have the force and effect of law and are not meant to bind the public in any way, and the document is intended only to provide information to the public regarding existing requirements under the law or agency policies.
