The primary purpose of these general guidelines and specifications is to list the requirements for aeronautical surveys conducted at airports in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Surveying–GIS Program. Note to Users: Not all agreed upon comments received have been incorporated into this version of the document. However, they may be incorporated in the next revision after due technical review and consultation with industry.
