This order sets forth policy and defines roles and responsibilities for maintaining the Facility, Service, and Equipment Profile (FSEP) information for the National Airspace System (NAS). The NAS is a complex collection offacilities, systems, equipment, procedures, and people. These components work together as one system to ensure that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) provides safe and efficient services to the flying public, airlines, and airports. The FSEP provides an official inventory ofthe NAS Operational Infrastructure, Technical Operations organizational, and the National Airspace Performance Reporting Services (NAPRS) services. In addition, the FSEP identifies facilities and services that are owned, maintained, certificated, inspected, and coordinated by Technical Operations personnel.
