Order purpose statement

This order sets forth requirements and procedures for reporting interruptions to facilities and services in the National Airspace System (NAS). It requires that Technical Operations Control Centers (CC) report interruptions in a uniform manner using standard definitions, criteria, procedures, and terminology. The National Airspace Performance Reporting Services (NAPRS) provide timely and accurate performance information for use in determining and evaluating the operating condition ofNAS facilities/services.
