Order purpose statement

This Notice revises policy in Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Order JO 3000.57A, Air Traffic Organization Technical Operations Training and Personnel Certification, paragraph 5-9b, to allow for an extension of the temporary certification period due to the restricted travel policy and social distancing measures enacted because of COVID-19.
