This order applies to airport ramp operations and other industrial-type work locations. Additionally, this order assists in the identification and evaluation of fall hazards to which employees may be exposed, and to provide specific training as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Fall Protection Standards. It is beyond the scope of this document to address slip/trip/fall hazards in office environments. Appendix A, Fall Protections Definitions, defines many of the terms used in this order.
