This notice provides guidance to inspectors and designees who conduct practical tests under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 61 for sport pilot certificates and flight instructor certificates with a sport pilot rating. This notice contains guidance that is pertinent to the Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) final rule (90 FR 35034), dated July 24, 2025.
