This notice implements changes to FAA Order JO 7110.65, paragraph 1-2-6, Abbreviations, and paragraph 9-8-1, General. This notice reflects the change from the previously known term, unidentified flying object (UFO), to, unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and the reporting of UAP activities.
