Order purpose statement

This notice authorizes the appended interim changes to the latestedition of Order JO 6480.27, Maintenance of Time Based Flow Management System-TechnicalRefresh. These changes will be incorporated into the next update of the Maintenance TechnicalHandbook (MTHB). The Time Based Flow Management (TBFM) Program Office (PO) added aDisplay Port (DP) Video Splitter (ATEN VS194) to the TBFM baseline. The release of thisNotice notifies the field of the technical data associated with the new Commercial Off-the-Shelf(COTS) hardware product. No additions to the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS)National Periodic Maintenance/Certification Scheduling (PMS) database have been added due tothe inclusion of this new hardware component to the TBFM Baseline. The Periodic Maintenance(PM) Task Glossary Codes (TGC) will not change with this Notice.
