Order purpose statement

This notice provides clarification concerning the maintenance documents and limitations and provisions for items of emergency equipment required to be documented in operations specification (OpSpec)/management specification (MSpec) D104. In addition, this notice announces nonmandatory revisions to the OpSpec/MSpec D104 templates to be issued within 180 days from the effective date of this notice. This notice contains guidance that is pertinent to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) §§ 91.1015(a)(5) and 119.49(c)(9).
