Committee Purpose
The UAS Detection and Mitigation Systems Aviation Rulemaking Committee will make recommendations for a plan and standards to ensure the use of UAS detection and/or mitigation systems does not adversely impact or interfere with safe airport operations, navigation, air traffic services, or the safe and efficient operation of the NAS and make recommendations on a certification framework and standards in order to minimize risk to the NAS when a UAS detection and/or mitigation system is used.
