Liver Transplant - Recipient All Submit items listed on Protocol for Liver Transplant (Recipient) Initial Special Issuance - Requires FAA Decision

Follow up Special Issuance - per Authorization Letter requirements

Liver Transplant - Donor All Review a current status report from the transplant surgeon or transplant team physician Initial certification - If the current status report shows there were no complications, the airman is off all pain medications, functional status has returned to normal, and the treating physician has granted a full release - Issue

Annotate in block 60 and send a copy of the current status report to the FAA for retention in the file

*If there were complications, see the appropriate, related section(s) within the AME Guide. Submit additional reports as necessary.

Follow up Certification - No follow up is required unless there are changes in condition
