OMB Control No. 2120-0746, expiration date August 31, 2021

Privacy Act Statement

This statement is provided pursuant to the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 USC § 552a.

The authority for collecting personally identifiable information (PII) in the Regulatory Consistency Communication Board (RCCB) Electronic Feedback Form is based in Section 313 of Public Law 112-95. Section 313 mandated, in pertinent part, that the Administrator establish an advisory panel to provide recommendations to improve the consistency of interpreting regulations by the Flight Standards Service and Aircraft Certification Service, and to report to Congress the Administrator's plan for implementation of the panel's recommendations. The advisory panel recommended, and the FAA accepted, a recommendation to create the RCCB Electronic Feedback Form to provide the public with a mechanism to report inconsistent application of regulations to the FAA. The principal purposes for this information collection are to enable the Administrator to contact the submitter, as necessary, to clarify any ambiguity in the RCCB submission, for the Administrator to provide a status on the resolution of the issue, and to obtain feedback from the submitter once the matter is concluded. Submission of the data is voluntary. However, failure to provide all information requested on the form may limit FAA's ability to provide a response to the RCCB submission.

The information collected through the RCCB Electronic Feedback Form is covered by the Privacy Act System of Records known as DOT/ALL 16, Mailing Management Systems. Records from this system of records may be disclosed in accordance with the routine uses that appear in DOT/ALL 16, Mailing Management Systems, as published in the Federal Register at 71 FR 35319 (June 19, 2006).
