This order establishes the policy for siting Airport Traffic Control Towers (ATCTs), including determining site location, tower height, and cab orientation.

Note:  “Effective July 13, 2026, Order 6480.4C applies to the siting of digital towers.  This change will be included in the next update to the Order.”
