This notice provides guidance to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) personnel of the requirement to conduct surveillance on holders of regulatory exemptions issued to Volunteer Pilot Organizations (VPO) authorized to conduct Charitable Medical Flights (CMF) operation exemptions under Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) §§ 61.113(a) and (c) and 119.1.
